Kristin Alderman

Kristin has always been in the business of connection. One of her first jobs was at Nordstrom in downtown Portland, where she started in hosiery and worked her way through ladies’ activewear and men’s fashion. She learned early on that great service comes from listening well, working hard, and always putting people first—principles she’s carried with her ever since.

That passion for people deepened as she moved into real estate and mortgage. For 25 years, Kristin has helped clients navigate big transitions— buying, selling, dreaming, and deciding. She realized it wasn’t just about homes; it was about being part of someone’s story. That’s what ultimately led her to the world of remodeling, where she now helps people not just find a home—but truly love it.

As the Client Coordinator at Mountainwood Homes, Kristin gets to do what she does best: connect, listen, and help people move from frustration to pride.

“It’s more than remodeling—it’s building trust, easing stress, and sharing a meaningful chapter in someone’s story,” she says.

Known among friends as “The Helper,” Kristin is the person others turn to for honest advice, a listening ear, or a good reality check. The moment someone says they have a problem, she’s already in fix-it mode—offering calm, capable support and a path forward.

Outside of work, Kristin’s world revolves around her 14-year-old daughter, Brooklyn—a sharp, hilarious, high-energy teen who keeps her laughing. She’s a proud dance mom who’s found her tribe in the bleachers (don’t worry—it’s nothing like the drama you see on TV), and still loves a good mall trip with Brooklyn in tow.
