Our clients wanted to personalize their home for their current lifestyle. They renovated the main level of their 2013 Sherwood home. Now that they’re retired with grown children, they have more time for themselves. They envisioned an “Upscale Rustic Elegance” style with a lighter kitchen and better layout to showcase the valley view. Another primary goal of their whole-house remodel was to upgrade spaces that make daily routines, from laundry to mornings, more enjoyable.

Solutions
- Featured a radius-shaped island with a Glacier Granite slab and dramatic 50-inch rattan ring chandelier
- Relocated the refrigerator to install a massive sink window showcasing the home’s elevated outlook
- Upgraded to new Sub-Zero appliances, including a 48-inch Dual Fuel Range and 42-inch French Door refrigerator
- Refreshed the fireplace with matching cabinet fronts, a new gas insert, and stone masonry
- Removed the oversized tub deck in the primary bathroom to make room for a larger walk-in shower with a half wall, oversized shampoo niche, and ledge
- In the primary bath, replaced the tub deck with a spacious walk-in shower, storage bench, and makeup vanity
- Reconfigured doors, adding a soft-close barn door to the laundry and pocket doors to baths
